Palais du Grand Large is located nearby the old city of Saint-Malo (Saint-Malo Intra Muros). The easiest way to reach Saint-Malo is either taking a train from Paris or going to Rennes (by plane or train) and then taking a local train or a taxi (one hour trip). Many solutions are possible:

From Charles de Gaulle Airport (Paris CDG) to Saint-Malo train station

There are (very few) direct TGVs (high speed trains) from CDG Airport to Saint-Malo train station. Only two such direct trains are announced for the week-end before CHES:

  • Friday 11th (departure 12:49, arrival 4:33pm)
  • Sunday 13th (departure 12:49, arrival 4:33pm)

From Rennes airport to Saint Malo

The most direct way to reach Saint-Malo from Rennes airport is to take a taxi (1-hour trip / about 100 €).

You can also reach Rennes train station by taxi or bus and take a local train ton Saint-Malo (see hereafter).

From Charles de Gaulle Airport (Paris CDG) to Rennes train station

There are direct TGVs (high speed trains) from CDG airport to Rennes train station (~4 per day / 2-hour trip).

If the trains do not fit with your own flight schedule, you may consider to reach Paris by RER or bus and take a train to Rennes at Paris-Montparnasse train station.

From Paris Montparnasse to Rennes train station

There are many TGVs (high speed trains) from Paris-Montparnasse train station to Rennes train station (~10 per day / 2-hour trip).

There are few direct TGVs (high speed trains) from Montparnasse train station to Saint Malo train station (~3 per day / 3-hour trip).

There are many local trains from Rennes train station to Saint Malo train station (1-hour trip). Almost all of them are in connection with TGV from Paris (less than 30 minutes wait).

From Saint-Malo train station to Palais du Grand Large / Intra Muros

By walking it takes less than 30 minutes. You just have to follow the direction of the old city (Saint-Malo Intra Muros). You can also take the bus lines number 1, 2 or 3 (zone H on the map hereafter) in direction to Intra Muros and stop to the terminus (only 4 stops).
